Presentation of the book “Rijeka or Death”

On Sunday 8th December 2019 at the 25th International book fair Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri (Dream books in Istria) the book ‘Rijeka ili smrt! / Rijeka or Death!’ was presented. The author of the book is our museum curator Tea Perinčić. The publisher of the book is Naklada Val and our Museum is co-publisher together with Rijeka 2020 European Capital of Culture. The book gives a chronologically presentation of a part of history of the city of Rijeka from 1918 and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy until the Bloody Christmas 1920 and leaving of Gabriele D’Annunzio from the city in January 1921. The book was presented by Andrea Matošević, Aljoša Pužar and Boris Dežulović. The book will be available at the book fair as well as in our Museum.
