9th International Numismatic Congress in Croatia

We are honored to announce that the 9th International Numismatic Congress in Croatia (INCC 2020) will be held at the Marble Hall of the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka (Trg Riccarda Zanelle 1, Rijeka), 7 – 10 April 2020.
The International Numismatic Congress in Croatia (INCC 2020) is held every three years in a different location in Croatia, promoting the history and cultural heritage through scientific and professional papers in the field of numismatics, which are published in the accompanying Book of Proceedings “Acta numismatica”.
The 9th International Congress in Croatia (INCC 2020), sponsored by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, is organized by the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, the National Museum in Belgrade, the Numismatic Cabinet of the National Museum of Slovenia and the Croatian Numismatic Society, in cooperation with the University of Rijeka, the Branch of Matica hrvatska in Opatija and the Philatelic-Numismatic Society Rijeka.
Congress will be held in Rijeka on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture Rijeka 2020 and is thematically related to reflecting on the impact of borders on the economy, money and coinage of different historical periods. The Congress is organized as an accompanying programme of the exhibition “Borders – between order and chaos” with which the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka participates in the programme direction “Age of Power” of the European Capital of Culture Rijeka 2020.
Participation
Participation on INCC 2020, with or without presentation is free of charge.
