During the third international WineRi festival of fine wine and food on 8 and 9 March 2019, the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka will open two displays for guests on the second floor: ‘Vestiges of Time’, an attractive, interactive display which, using the valuable materials from the Museum’s inventory, testifies to the fascinating history and continuity of life in this area from the Stone Age to the reign of Empress Maria Theresa, and ‘Sails of Kvarner’, which testifies to this area’s long historical bond with the sea.
The permanent display on the ground level, ‘In Defence of the Homeland’, and the exhibition ‘The Arena and Surrounding Parks,’ as well as the permanent display on the first floor, ‘From the Window of the Governor’s Palace’, will be closed to visitors.
Admission to the Museum on 8 and 9 March 2019 will be free of charge.[:]
