TRY theatre – The Rijeka Play
22. July, 2014.

The Rijeka Youth Theatre is proud to announce the opening of The Rijeka Play, today at 5 pm at the Governor’s Palace in Rijeka.
TRY theatre’s „The Rijeka Play“ is a brief, 35-minute piece that races through the history of Rijeka from the times of the Romans to present day Croatia. Performed entirely in English by seven young performers, the play crashes into events and people that shaped Rijeka as a city, including the battle of the Grobnik field, the sacred house of Nazareth myth, the Carolina of Rijeka story, the industrialist Andrija Ljudevit Adamić, the first torpedo, Gabrielle d’Annunzio and many more.
Do not expect a history lesson, though. Fasten your seatbelts and try to keep up!
