The exhibition will run until 15 April 2019

As a part of the observance of the ninth Art History Day in the Maritime and Historical Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, a thematic exhibition, “Rijeka’s (Applied) Stories” will be staged. This is an exhibition organized by art history students who are also members of the ARTeFACT Art History Students Club of the Rijeka Association of Art Historians.
Applied art pieces of the Art Nouveau era from Rijeka and its environs will be displayed in the exhibition, accompanied by stories associated with them. Besides the two students who conceived of the exhibition, Irena Radoslav and Iva Volović, many other art history students participated in devising its concept and, especially, in setting it up, as they came up with the stories tied to the exhibits.
Accompanying activities aimed at target groups were also conceived for the exhibition, such as art workshops for school children that will be implemented as a part of the Museum’s Miracle Room, children’s art workshops, and guided tours of the exhibition for secondary school students. During the exhibition, guided tours for visitors led by experts will be held twice weekly. [:]
