Our Mountain of Culture project continues, with music! As noted at today’s press conference, the Ivan Matetić Ronjgov Music School in Rijeka is participating in the project with a Gala Concert conceived of and artistically directed by Slađana Čolović, an instructor in the String, Guitar and Harp Department, who takes us into the story of classical music this year.
This concert will serve as a public showcase for the finest young musicians, who will bring to life the music of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Piazzolla in the style for which it was created and conceived, in some cases several centuries ago. They will also observe World Music Day, so the audience in the garden of the Governor’s Palace can even expect a surprise or two, intriguing collaborations and, naturally, exquisite melodies.
