\nThe exhibition features the parallel presentation of objects in the Museum\u2019s collection that originally came from Japan in the 19th and 20th centuries and stories from contemporary travellers about their experience of Japan, supplemented with their photographs and souvenirs.<\/p>\n

\nThe exhibition presents aids for the blind and visually impaired which the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Association of the Blind donated to the Museum. The exhibition also displays the handicrafts and artworks made by the Association\u2019s members.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM<\/strong>
\nThe workshops for young creators are held in the Miracle Room at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka and in the Museum\u2019s garden. Educational programmes are also being held at the remote collections.<\/p>\n

FAIRYTECA<\/strong>
\nFairyteca is an interdisciplinary educational-exhibition project which endeavours to present the local cultural-historical heritage of the Croatian Littoral and Gorski Kotar through the prism of the timeless fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. Fairy tales wearing the guise of the specific ethnographic features of local communities and cultures will be presented in eight interpretive centres functioning as part of the On Frankopan Paths Culture and Tourism Route.<\/p>\n

Nothing in the Dragontastic Story is ordinary, not even the characters. The main character in this colourful, creative and just a liiiiiittle bit scary story \u2013 and what makes this workshop so special \u2013 is a nine year-old girl, Leda \u017deleznik. Leda, a genuine expert on dragons, has put together an educational and creative but also entertaining workshop, in which children learn about the Trsat dragon and his intriguing history and then design and make their own paper versions of these mythical creatures that can even be used for play acting!
\nWe look forward to seeing you at this workshop specially made for all dragon-lovers.<\/p>\n

PROGRAMME<\/strong>
\nBIRTHDAY IN THE MUSEUM<\/strong>
\nEducational birthday workshops in the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka are aimed at children aged 4 to 12. The workshops are thematic, and the celebrants can choose from six available themes: \u2018Masquerade Ball,\u2019 \u2018The Trsat Dragon,\u2019 \u2018On-board Emergency,\u2019 \u2018Unusual Form,\u2019 \u2018Challenge Trail,\u2019 and \u2018Treasure Hunt.\u2019
\nThe programme will proceed in the Museum\u2019s premises. Must be arranged in advance.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM ON THE ROAD<\/strong>
\nMiracle Room on the Road is intended for children from distant schools, so that they can more easily participate in educational and creative programmes tied to the Museum\u2019s inventory and content, as well as segments of the local cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n
