\nThe exhibition Blogging About the Blog features a selection of texts that were posted on the Museum\u2019s FB page and its Blog during 2023, as well as the items that were the subject of these FB and blog posts. These are texts that covered exponents from the Museum\u2019s inventory and activities in a different, more leisurely fashion, adapted to an audience that does not necessarily consist of Museum patrons but are users of social media. Besides so-called museum stories, the texts are tied to important dates in Croatian history, current events in the world that can also be presented through the prism of the museum practices and heritage protection, but always with exponents from the museum\u2019s collections. One post\/one item conveys the wealth of materials held by the Museum, interesting museum stories and \u201cbehind the scenes\u201d museum work.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM<\/strong>
\nThe workshops for young creators are held in the Miracle Room at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka and in the Museum\u2019s garden. Educational programmes are also being held at the remote collections.<\/p>\n

MORNING IN THE MUSEUM<\/strong>

Everything is awakening, and that includes our new workshop in the colourful Miracle Room! We\u2019ll celebrate the arrival of spring with a two-day get-together, with leaves, flowers and branches that will enliven some of the Museum\u2019s residents and the stories we can hear in it. This creative workshop and play time will make use of materials that can be found in nature every day, but hardly ever used, to make little works of art.<\/p>\n

BIRTHDAY IN THE MUSEUM<\/strong>
\nEducational birthday workshops in the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka are aimed at children aged 4 to 12. The workshops are thematic, and the celebrants can choose from six available themes: \u2018Masquerade Ball,\u2019 \u2018The Trsat Dragon,\u2019 \u2018On-board Emergency,\u2019 \u2018Unusual Form,\u2019 \u2018Challenge Trail,\u2019 and \u2018Treasure Hunt.\u2019
\nThe programme will proceed in the Museum\u2019s premises. Must be arranged in advance.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM ON THE ROAD<\/strong>
\nMiracle Room on the Road is intended for children from distant schools, so that they can more easily participate in educational and creative programmes tied to the Museum\u2019s inventory and content, as well as segments of the local cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n

KASTAV REGIONAL MUSEUM COLLECTION<\/strong>

\nThe history of Kastav and the wider environs (Kastav\u0161tina) is presented in the permanent display in three thematic units: The Origin of Kastav, Culture and Education in Kastav\u0161tina, and Life on the Border.
\nThe exhibition \u201cFrom the Museum\u2019s Time Machine\u201d presents the Collection\u2019s first opening in 1981.<\/p>\n
