\nREMEMBER ME<\/strong>

\nthe exhibition will remain open until 29 October 2023<\/p>\n

The exhibition is a collaboration between the Croatian Restoration Institute and the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka. It presents devotional objects held in the museum\u2019s Archaeology Department which were gathered during archaeological excavations around parish churches in Rijeka and Mo\u0161\u0107enice.
\nThe Archaeology Department of the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka holds a total of 700 exponents with a devotional character, and approximately 170 are presented in this exhibition.<\/p>\n

EXHIBITION<\/strong>
\nBURIAL RITES AND CUSTOMS OF ANCIENT ROME<\/strong>

\nexhibition remains open until 30 October 2023<\/p>\n

Over 400 exponents are on display in the exhibition: from miniscule jewellery forms to structural components of graves. The social and spiritual traits of the population in the Zadar area from the 1st to 4th centuries can be understood through the prism of grave goods.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM<\/strong>
\nThe workshops for young creators are held in the Miracle Room at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka and in the Museum\u2019s garden. Educational programmes are also being held at the remote collections.<\/p>\n

PROGRAMME<\/strong>
\nBIRTHDAY IN THE MUSEUM<\/strong>
\nEducational birthday workshops in the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka are aimed at children aged 4 to 12. The workshops are thematic, and the celebrants can choose from six available themes: \u2018Masquerade Ball,\u2019 \u2018The Trsat Dragon,\u2019 \u2018On-board Emergency,\u2019 \u2018Unusual Form,\u2019 \u2018Challenge Trail,\u2019 and \u2018Treasure Hunt.\u2019
\nThe programme will proceed in the Museum\u2019s premises. Must be arranged in advance.<\/p>\n

MIRACLE ROOM ON THE ROAD<\/strong>
\nMiracle Room on the Road is intended for children from distant schools, so that they can more easily participate in educational and creative programmes tied to the Museum\u2019s inventory and content, as well as segments of the local cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n

\nThe exhibition \u201cFrom the Museum\u2019s Time Machine\u201d presents the Collection\u2019s first opening in 1981.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cFEAR OF REMEMBERING\u201d<\/strong>

\nNatka Badurina, a Rijeka native employed at the University of Udine, has been diligently gathering and studying materials tied to the ways in which differently interpreted historical events are remembered. In almost three hundred pages, the book Strah od pam\u0107enja (\u2018Fear of Remembering\u2019) reveals various sources for remembering events in the northern Adriatic (today\u2019s Italy, Slovenia and Croatia) from the first half of the 20th century.
\nBesides its author, the book will also be presented by Ivan Jeli\u010di\u0107, Ph.D., a professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science in Rijeka and Tea Perin\u010di\u0107, Ph.D., an advisor in the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka.<\/p>\n
