So the illustrations, like stickers, communicate with the public. The Frankopans in a comic strip and on stickers are new way to promote this project, which is meant to bring the On Frankopan Paths Tourism and Culture Route closer to younger generations.<\/p>\n<p>Vedran Klemens, a designer and artist with degrees from the Design Studies Department and Fine Arts Academy in Zagreb, is one of the best illustrators of his generation. The author tells the story through intriguing documents and forgotten items.<br \/>\nThe book was published with the support of the Town of Kraljevica and the Kraljevica Town Tourism Board.<\/p>\n<p>MIRACLE ROOM<br \/>\nThe workshops for young creators are held in the Miracle Room at the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka and in the Museum\u2019s garden. The workshops are geared toward children from preschool through secondary school, and the theme is tied to the sea, rivers, canals, springs, streams, rain and other waters that make Rijeka a unique city. The project was launched in 2019 at the Art History Institute, and is based on interdisciplinary research collaboration and field work with the local community as the methodological foundation for opening critical perspectives into phenomena such as social remembrance and the creation of heritage. The project\u2019s theme is the history and heritage of the Dre\u017enica region, one of the key strongholds of the Partisan struggle during the Second World War. Through four thematic \u201cprobes\u201d linked to sites where archaeological research was conducted in 2020 and 2021, we shall present the historical experience of Dre\u017enica but also numerous other communities in Croatia and beyond. Or do you play bowls? Regardless of your response, perhaps you\u2019re wondering why a museum is holding an exhibition dedicated to bocce.<br \/>\nLife by to the sea, outdoors in pleasant company, delineates the romantic picture of the Mediterranean, whence bocce in fact originated. This traditional game, in which the main objective is roll or throw a ball (bo\u0107a) to get as close as possible to the target ball (the so-called bulin), reflects the specific way of life in these parts. This is an intangible heritage which is characterized by few physical artefacts, but which is an outsized component of identity. Bocce, like all elements of the cultural heritage, is subject to change. Although it has been sport discipline for decades, in which Croatia achieves exceptional results, our focus here is on \u2018traditional,\u2019 or \u2018old-fashioned\u2019 bocce.
