This thematic-chronological display presents physical remains from prehistory, through Antiquity and the Middle Ages, to modern times.<\/p>\n

The exhibited archaeological finds from nearby sites follow the continuity of life since this region was first inhabited. Numerous finds from prehistory and Antiquity testify to everyday life, trade, manufacturing, customs, conflicts\u2026 and the relationship with the dominant factors of any given era.<\/p>\n

Exceptionally valuable finds from early medieval archaeological sites testify to the arrival of the Croats, and their integration, conversion to Christianity and burial rites.<\/p>\n

Documents, items of everyday use and artworks, accompanied by exhaustive captions, speak about all aspects of the lives of the region\u2019s inhabitants until the end of the 18th century. Numerous valuable exhibits testify to the high culture of living, as well as a refined taste in art.<\/p>\n
